Taste of the sea and Alassio
Alassio is one of Italy's historic seaside resorts, having conquered its place in the empyrean of seaside resorts as early as the 19th century, when the English fell in love with its mild climate and clear sea and pitched their tents, or rather umbrellas, on our soft beaches. This centuries-old tradition of seaside hospitality has made Alassio one of the best equipped areas to meet the most diverse needs of seaside tourism.
The beach of Alassio is a white, wide belt of sand three kilometers long, alternating between private beaches, equipped free beaches, unequipped free beaches, dog friendly beaches, restaurants and bars by the sea. The fine sand and the gently sloping shoreline make it particularly popular with children, who can learn to swim in complete safety.
